Full-Day Workshop

Seminar: Advanced Social Skills: One Step Beyond

This one-day course is aimed at people who have already attended Alex Kelly’s 2-day training on assessing and teaching social skills. During these first 2 days, participants will have learnt how to assess children, teach social skills using a variety of approaches and then reassess to measure progress. On this advanced training day, she will take you one step further and she will focus on 2 areas: firstly, how to set appropriate targets for intervention, and then how to support children to generalize the skills in everyday life. It is a practical and interactive day and Alex uses a mixture of lecturing, videos and practical exercises to keep you engaged, interested and amused. This is a standalone day but is only suitable for people who have already attended Alex’s 2-day course, either in 2020 or in previous years.
