Overview
What We Got Right, What We’ve Learned & What Really Makes the Difference
Visual strategies are no longer something new. They have become standard practice for supporting autistic and neurodivergent learners. But have we limited what we think they can do?
Our understanding of these students has changed over the years. We’ve also discovered some important things about how visual strategies can help them succeed. And some of the most important factors may not be what you think.
We’ll revisit the essential foundations and explore beyond the basics to discover how visuals can help teach some of the harder things—the information that is confusing, abstract, unspoken, or difficult to understand.
Whether visual supports are new to you or you’ve been using them for years, this program will give you a fresh look at what visual tools can accomplish.
