Overview
In this course you receive specialized training from a PROMPT Instructor with extensive clinical experience that you can apply right away. Following the completion of this course you will be able to immediately use different levels of PROMPT technique (Parameter, Surface, Complex, Syllable) in your practice. In other words, you will be able to use your hands to help clients move their articulators. You will walk away with an understanding of dynamic systems, treating the whole child, and applying the PROMPT assessment and treatment planning process.
Intro primarily focuses on the motor speech system (Physical-Sensory Domain). Highlights include an evidenced-based framework for identifying motor breakdowns, determining treatment targets, designing treatment sessions, applying technique through interactive case studies and practice opportunities. Easy-to-use resources are provided to allow you to put what you learn into practice. Once completed caregivers can find you on our website as being PROMPT trained, which can help you grow your practice.
